This course aims to equip trainees with the knowledge, understanding and basic skills in administering first aid effectively in line with current practices. It has been designed specifically to assist learners working in the Game keeping and Deer stalking setting in dealing with the potential of gunshot wounds, severe bleeding injuries, extremes of body temperature and tick-borne diseases. It introduces the learner to the effective application of first aid in emergency situations and incidents in order to preserve life and protect casualties until specialist aid is available. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements
